Sing Together.
Heal Together.
From separation into oneness is both the promise and the path of Prem Maurel’s music. His songs are written not only to be heard but to be sung together, uniting hearts, awakening remembrance, and inviting each voice to return home to love.
Prem’s voice and vision were shaped through decades of service, creativity, and spiritual practice. Beginning in 2001, he spent nearly ten years as head chef in a yoga monastery dedicated to serving monks and living saints, the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda, where the daily rhythm of silence, meditation, and devotion formed the roots of his art. Later, as a holistic health practitioner and massage therapist, he deepened his understanding of the body, the breath, and the nature of healing. Those lessons now live in every lyric and melody.
A professional chef for twenty five years and a musician since childhood, Prem weaves flavor, feeling, and frequency into one offering of beauty and presence. On stage, he turns concerts into circles of belonging, moments where audience and artist dissolve into one voice. His music has filled intimate sanctuaries like The Belly Up in San Diego, echoed through fireside gatherings in Peru’s Sacred Valley, and risen above sixty thousand voices at Utah’s Festivals of Color. It has crossed continents, resonating in Europe’s historic theaters and India’s sacred spaces, always carrying the same invitation:
Sing together. Heal together. Remember we are one.
